We have lots of Children's Programs for all ages at the Thomaston Public Library! Here is a sample of programs offered.

Page Turners

for grades 1-3. Each month explore a new book series (or maybe an old favorite) with games and trivia. This year will start with My Weird School. It is not necessary to read the series before attending the program. 

Book Busters

for grades 4-7. Each month explore a new book (or maybe an old favorite) with games and trivia. This year will start with 39 Clues: Maze of Bones. It is not necessary to read the book before hand, but it is encouraged. Copies of the book are available at the children's circulation desk. Join the fun - Will you take the challenge or the million dollars? Which branch of the Cahill family are you from?

Art-rageous Afternoons

Children in grades 1-3 will be able to create an art project to take home. It's lots of fun!

Mother/daughter Book Club:

These popular group discussions are for moms and girls in grades 4-7 and another for girls in grades 7 and up. Each group meets one Thursday night per month at 6:30pm. Call ahead for a book and a schedule!

LEGo club:

During this program, for boys and girls is grade K and up, participants are presented with a building challenge. Participants are welcome to accept the challenge or build from their imaginations. All building materials are provided. Creations are kept on display at the library until the next Lego Club.

All library programs are free and open to the public, but registration is required.
